Our Programmes
Sharon Woods
Sharon has twelve years experience of working within European Programmes, and has extensive experience of building relationships within the voluntary and community sectors. Within the Irish Peace Centres, she is engaged in developing the outreach element of the inter-community and inter-face element of Activity 2, bringing communities together to explore their commonalities.
Sharon joined Co-operation Ireland in 2000, and has been employed as a projects manager, responsible for assessing, developing and monitoring a range of cross-border and cross-community projects. She was previously employed by Newry & Mourne Peace & Reconciliation District Partnership, and where she was responsible for managing a Community Technical assistance budget to build local partnerships and prepare Community focused action plans.
Sharon also serves on the steering committee of a range of cross-border projects providing advice on their future development strategies.
